Jacynta McMahon qualified as a barrister in 1994, going on to re-train as a solicitor. She has specialised in the area of family law since qualification in 1997 and has developed particular expertise representing children in both public and private law disputes. Jacynta was appointed a Partner at the Pendlebury Office on 1 November 2010.
Jacynta has been a member of the Law Society’s specialist Children Panel since 2000.
Jacynta regularly handles cases across the full range of family law work, including divorce, financial and property settlements, disputes regarding children’s residence and contact arrangements.
Jacynta is a long-standing member of Resolution and is committed to the development of non-confrontational approaches in resolving disputes in family matters. Jacynta was recently elected onto the Committee of Child Concern, a charitable body set up to promote continuing education amongst family law professionals.
